About Us
In 2016 we set out to create Market Street Café as a place locals, visitors, friends and family could call their own and visit to eat, drink and unwind. With some of Mudgee’s most iconic heritage buildings as its backdrop, the café offers outdoor footpath-based seating, spacious indoor seating including a large communal table as well as a lounge area for those really looking to relax and make themselves at home.
Whether it’s a take away coffee, breakfast with friends, or an escape from the world you’re after, we’d love your company!
Coffee
As coffee lovers ourselves, it was important for us to find the right roaster to help us in delivering great tasting coffee you’ll want to keep coming back for. To achieve this, we’ve partnered with Allpress Espresso. From humble beginnings as New Zealand’s first coffee cart in the late 1980’s, to roasting coffee in the back of a garage and supplying cafes throughout Auckland City, Allpress’ obsession with flavour and quality has led them to supplying over 1000 independent cafes around the world and expand their roasting operations to Sydney, Melbourne, London and Tokyo.
Food
When it comes to food, we thought about what we love about our favourite cafes and dining spots and worked to combine and provide our own take on those qualities. This led us to focus on classic flavours, quality products and good proportions. Our team love to experiment and tweak our classic dishes as well as come up with new and exciting options for those that like to step outside their comfort zone.
